I thoroughly enjoyed doing this podcast #badtablemanners, a show hosted by anthropologist and writer Meher Varma and produced by Whetstone Radio. Here we visit some of Goa´s fish markets and landing sites.
Globalisation (in this case nationalisation) of our seafood markets can mask local declines in our fish stocks (we often see higher volumes and a greater diversity of species than we did in the decades gone by).
However, the market will resort to whole range of tricks to keep the idea of the “Catch of the Day” alive !
